ColdPoint Real Estate Logistics, LLC awarded MC Power Companies a 3 MW rooftop solar array project. This design-build project included engineering, construction, and monitoring of the solar array on an existing cold storage facility located in Edgerton, KS. The array provides 3MW of DC power to the building.

MC Power Companies and the City of Nixa worked on this project together to add benefit to the city and also help the citizens be greener. The City of Nixa solar farm is the largest solar farm constructed in Missouri to date.

MC Power Companies and BPU successfully collaborated on this 1.2663 megawatts DC community solar farm project. BPU is a forward-thinking utility that sees the need for Energy Diversity in its long-term power generation portfolio and through its commitment to the community built this pilot project. There are 3,780 335-watt tier one panels, two Solectria inverters, and Sunbelt transformers. The community solar farm was commissioned on September 26th, 2017.

IKEA, the world’s leading home furnishings retailer in collaboration with MC Power Companies and SoCore Energy designed, constructed and commissioned the State of Kansas’ largest rooftop solar array atop their Merriam, Kansas store. The 92,000-square-foot solar array was completed from design to operation in 10 weeks. The project was completed on time and under budget.

The Johnson County Community College selected MC Power Companies to design, engineer, procure, and construct the Student Center Rooftop Solar Array. The new array will provide an additional 85 kilowatts of DC power to its existing solar footprint. This is the second solar array the Johnson County Community College has entrusted MC Power to Engineer, Procure, and Construct, from start to finish.

MC Power Companies in collaboration with Missouri Public Utility Alliance (MPUA), Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission (MJMEUC) and the City of Lebanon developed, engineered and installed a utility-scale solar farm on property purchased from the Trustees of the City of Lebanon. Multiple parcels of land were joined to form the Solar Farm Subdivision.

MC Power Companies was brought in on this project for their expertise in electrical work. Strata outsourced this entire project. Once all equipment was installed, Strata contracted with MC Power Companies to connect all the electrical and provide a final review of the project.

There are 11,664 330-watt tier one panels, four Solectria inverters, and Sunbelt transformers. The community solar farm was 100% subscribed or committed to by the time the farm was commissioned.
