Marshall Utility Solar Farm
MC Power Companies and the city of Marshall, Missouri decided to build this project to help the community and its citizens with renewable energy. The project allowed Marshall to tell citizens that they were forward-thinking and helping better the community.
The Marshall, Missouri solar farm is a 3.2 megawatt project. The farm was built next to a former airport so that the land was flat and reduced costs to the city. The panels used on the project were Jinko 310w and 10260 panels were used. The panels have a 25 degree tilt allowing them to absorb the most sunlight possible on this location. The inverters were produced by SMA and the monitor is done thru fiber optics with help from Deck Monitoring.
