Trenton Utility Solar Farm
MC Power Companies and the city of Trenton, Missouri came together to provide the city with a solar farm to allow the city renewable energy. MC Power Companies did everything from the ground up to completion on this project. MC Power also provided the local school with monitor equipment allowing them to see the production of their great project.
The Trenton, Missouri solar farm is a 3.2 megawatt project. The farm takes up 15 acres and is the size of 4 football fields. The panels used on the project were Yingli 305 WP and placed at a tilt of 30 degrees. The 30 degrees was selected to maximize production from the panels. There are 18 modules and 600 strings connecting them. The inverters used were manufactured by SMA and monitoring for the system is done by Deck Monitoring.
