City Of Nixa

Project Summary

MC Power Companies and the City of Nixa worked on this project together to add benefit to the city and also help the citizens be greener. The City of Nixa solar farm is the largest solar farm constructed in Missouri to date.

 

Project Details

The Nixa, Missouri solar farm is 115.5 megawatts. There are 33,288 335w panels installed. The inverters and transformers were provided by SMA and 4 of them were required. The monitoring is done thru fiber optics with help from Deck Monitoring. The project was engineered, designed and constructed on time and within projected budget.

City Of Rolla

Project Summary

MC Power Companies and Rolla worked on this project together to add benefit to the city and also help the citizens be greener.  The city was also excited to be able to use the solar farm as a way of showing forward thinking to individuals thinking about coming there for education.

 

Project Details

The Rolla, Missouri solar farm is just under 3.2 megawatts. There is 10,200 315w panels installed.   The inverters were produced by SMA and 4 of them were required. The transformer is a Sunbelt unit.  The monitoring is done thru fiber optics with help from Deck Monitoring.  The project was engineered, designed and constructed on time and within projected budget.

City Of Trenton

Project Summary

MC Power Companies and the city of Trenton, Missouri came together to provide the city with a solar farm to allow the city renewable energy.  MC Power Companies did everything from the ground up to completion on this project.  MC Power also provided the local school with monitor equipment allowing them to see the production of their great project.

 

Project Details

The Trenton, Missouri solar farm is a 3.2 megawatt project.  The farm takes up 15 acres and is the size of 4 football fields.  The panels used on the project were Yingli 305 WP and placed at a tilt of 30 degrees.  The 30 degrees was selected to maximize production from the panels.  There are 18 modules and 600 strings connecting them.  The inverters used were manufactured by SMA and monitoring for the system is done by Deck Monitoring.

City Of Chillicothe

Project Summary

MC Power Companies and the city of Chillicothe worked on this project together to add benefit to the city and also help the citizens be greener.  The city was also excited to keep with its city motto of “planning for the future” with renewable energy.

 

Project Details

The Chillicothe, Missouri solar farm is 3.256 DC. There are 9,720 335w panels installed.   The four inverters required are manufactured by Canadian Solar Panels. The two transformers required are Sunbelt units.  The monitoring is performed thru fiber optics with help from Also Energy.  The project was engineered, designed and constructed on time and within projected budget.

City Of Marshall

Project Summary

MC Power Companies and the city of Marshall, Missouri decided to build this project to help the community and its citizens with renewable energy.  The project allowed Marshall to tell citizens that they were forward thinking and helping better the community.

 

Project Details

The Marshall, Missouri solar farm is a 3.2 megawatt project.  The farm was built next to a former airport so that the land was flat and reduced costs to the city.  The panels used on the project were Jinko 310w and 10260 panels were used.  The panels have a 25 degree tilt allowing them to absorb the most sunlight possible on this location.  The inverters were produced by SMA and the monitor is done thru fiber optics with help from Deck Monitoring.

City Of Springfield

Project Summary

MC Power Companies was brought in on this project for their expertise in electrical work.  Strata outsourced this entire project. Once all equipment was installed, Strata contracted with MC Power Companies to connect all the electrical and provide a final review of the project.

 

Project Details

The Strata Springfield Community Solar Farm was a collaboration of many companies to get to its final product.  The panels, racking, trenching, combiners, inverters, design and electrical were all completed by different companies.  MC Power completed the electrical work, using cranes to bring in the larger components of the project before insuring that all other installations were completed properly.  The project was a 6.5 megawatt project and the largest in the Midwest at the time of completion.

City Of Lebanon

Project Summary

MC Power Companies in collaboration with Missouri Public Utility Alliance (MPUA), Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission (MJMEUC) and the City of Lebanon developed, engineered and installed a utility scale solar farm on property purchased from the Trustees of the City of Lebanon.  Multiple parcels of land were joined to form the Solar Farm Subdivision.

 

Lebanon, with over 14,000 residents and major employers as Tracker Marine, Lowe Boats, Emerson Climate Technologies and Detroit Tool Metal Products wanted renewable energy for these companies to be able to harness themselves.  From the telegraph to Route 66 to the railroad and magnetic water, Lebanon has always been current with the times and has built on its motto of “planning for the future”.  Today, renewable energy from the Lebanon Solar Farm provides renewable energy for the future.

 

Project Details

The Lebanon, Missouri solar farm located on 20 acres and is just over 3.14 MW DC / 2.5 MW AC. There are 9,396 335W panels, four (4) Selectria inverters, two rated at 750kW and two (2) at 500kW.  The two (2) Sunbelt transformers required are rated at 1,500kVA each.  Production is monitored in real time with assistance from Deck Monitoring.  The project was engineered, designed and constructed by MC Power Companies on-time and within projected budget.
